First of all I want to extend my Thanks to T. Sparks and Chief Fagan, and all others, for the work they have done in affording the transsexual community, in SF, more protection against violence, especially when the violence comes from the police.

Wow...and Thank you!!
Role models?

On November 12 2003 the San Francisco Police Commision, passed unanimously, reform within the SF "police department that will provide TG's and TS's with protection in matters related to booking, detention, and transportion of trangenders under arrest for suspicion of illegal activities." (info from BAR by Zak Szymanski)

Over the Thanksgiving weekend me an my lover traveled to the Grand Canyon.
Wow what a beautiful place, but when we drove to Page we came upon a factory of sorts.
It was blowing pollution all over the desert. What the fuck is that all about?
That land belongs to the NATIVE AMERICANS and someone is blowing frickin chemicals all over it.
The Navajo should fight that or stop that and shut it down. Who cares if the place provides jobs and some sort of aid (gasoline or electricity) for our living habits. Their are other ways to get what we need.
Will someone Please !! stop the polluting of our deserts, forests, mountains and rivers.
IT MAKES ME CRY when I see pollution on our land. TEARDROPS..................................................

I want to say that the people along our trip, for the most part, treated us with respect.
However, there is a restaurant in Tusayan, Arizona, on route 64 north, which is 1 mile from the rim in the Grand Canyon area.
This restaurant is called Yippi Yi Yo's and it is steak house.
Don't go there !!!!!
The people who run that place suck and need mental health services and care.
It should be shut down.
All the other restaurants and stores the people were cool.
But remember service is slower in the country.

I want to Thank my lover publicly for driving all that way(over 1200 miles in four days). And we lived.

The Grand Canyon makes me proud because it shows age, longevity and the beauty of America.

However......

WARNING WARNING WARNING.
There are large groups of illegals running around (on the highways) in Southeast California.
They may only be here to work, but they could be dangerous to families who are traveling.
