Handgun ban illegal!
6/12/2006
Just as some gun advocates and supporters expected, Judge James Warren ruled today that Proposition H violated State law and cannot be enforced. He said State law does specifically say that city' and counties cannot regulate gun ownership by law abiding citizens. It has to be done on a state level. Warren also says he is concerned about banning firearms and ammunition in one county because gun owners or sellers would simply move to an area that does not ban them. NRA lawyer Chuck Michel is happy with the outcome. He says the judge recognized that people who want to defend themselves are not a part of the problem.
