On June 22 2004 the judge from the Alameda court system declared the Gwen Araujo trial a mistrial.
This is travesty and has made the world that much more dangerous for transsexuals.
I know I will no longer walk around in this society without a weapon.
That decision has made the whole community scared.
The State of California is behind the times when it comes to its justice system.
I suspect there is a much larger picture than this case.
California has always been flaky when it comes to Justice.
California is not capable of convicting murderers.
California is not capable of providing public safety for vulnerable.
Thats why they invented the term vigilantism.
Its useful, provides justice, and the punishments usually fit the crimes.
California or Hayward you better wake up because the transgender community has many militants.
We will prevail. and we will make our transgressors pay.
